 Today we are officially back on project.

Move is complete

network is up and running

OK, slow restart

 OK,

We are going to resume the process on a limited basis.

We need some replacement equipment before we go full steam ahead but

there is some stuff we can do before that arrives.

so long story short, we are working on the comic again.

ok, we are finishing up some stuff

 OK, we are finishing up the 3D render work and we have decided to keep working

on schedule until we get closer to moving time.

With that in mind, we currently are working on the second to last

page (render work) so the render portion of this

issue will be done shortly (YEA!)

As disclosed earlier, next will be the art work. (more fun)

wish us luck.

And then bad luck strikes again !

 Long story short, Landlord wants to cash in on the 'inflation' so as our rental lease came up for renewal,

he raised the offered rate by 35%. Yea - wants me to accept a 35% increase in rent. For 1 year.

..................... NOPE

so, will be doing a relocation.

The graphic novel is on hold until the relocation is complete.

See you all in 3 months, give or take.

 We have approx. 5 more days of 3D model work

HURRAY !

..... getting really tired of 3D models.

Do keep in mind there is a LOT of artwork

that needs to be done (it is more fun to do though)

 Update -

We have about 8 more pages worth of 3D assets to create and

then we can return to the 'art' phase of the project continuing

with inking, setting up the frames on the page ... speed lines,

sound FX, bubbles (text) and final clean up.

When will it be released?

After group discussions, when all of the 3D assets

are completed on Issue 2. We have revised

and simplified our work process so that would

be phase 2

phase 1 - rough draft.

phase 2 - create 3D assets as needed

phase 3 - inking and setting up frames

phase 4 - speed lines and sound FX

phase 5 - dialog and text

phase 6 - clean up

phase 7 - publish.

once we are done with the assets, we should be able to put out more 'sneak peeks'

and still doing work on the comic (pretty much 8+ hours a day.)

I can't show you what I am working on but it is not

because of spoilers this time.

It is a gory scene and I do not want to have issues with the

various 'morality' police on various social media site so

it is easier just to say ... nope, can't see it until you buy the comic.

Nothing better than trying to sneak in dinner while moving around 

3D models of internal organs .... yum :-/  lol

so hang in there, there will be at least 1 more leaked shot ... but

that is near the end of this issue.

Hello there, important news !

 Officially we are switching from 'part-time' hobby

to 'full time' job.     oh joy ... :-S

This is because after checking production times

and requirements to put out an (almost) 60pg graphic

novel at least semi annually we needed to invest more

time in the production.

Since semi annual is the goal ... production had to increase.

..............

so that is where we are.

We are still working on the graphic novel issue 01.

I have not posted any pictures lately because we are

working in the 'spoiler zone'.   ... sorry.

We are currently finishing up render work on page 38.

It was a very involved page that required a LOT of renders.

 The hard thing at this point is to >not< show

pictures in the progress because we are firmly in the spoiler zone.

Issue one will feature some time jumping in the story

as it will be necessary. After that, it will be limited

to a flash back or two for one particular character.

The main part of the story starts in 2026 in an

alternate version of earth. Similar to our earth but

different. Mutations do exist but much rarer than

in the MCU. There are all the usual Governments and such,

no direct relation to the current ones. Do not expect

any of the leaders to be the same as the real ones.

THIS IS FICTION !

In my world, there are secret organizations ... lol duh

The soul is a trans dimensional entity.

Organic matter (from the dimension earth exists in) can not

cross physically into other dimensions. Key word, organic.

Aliens exist - all of them are ... alien in all respects. (This is not Star Trek)

You will have hard time finding totally 'good guys' and 'bad guys'

most fall with in a large 'gray scale'.

All religions in this world have absolutely zero connection to real

ones, they may use similar names and terms but they are in no

way anything like real ones, for better or worse.

 Things are move briskly however as the issue starts reaching

... 'important' parts of the story, the material will be kept secret.

Which is now ... sorry

HOWEVER ! 

once the visuals are done and we go to sound FX

and dialog, then I will be able to post more stuff

(about things in the front half of issue 1.)

Each issue will have a beginning, middle and end (usually)

but they are also chronological [after issue 1, issue 1 is the exception].

So there is a strong story moving in the background that

will at some point boil up to the surface.

For everyone peeking in now and then, sorry I don't have more for you

but we are moving forward.

2/10/2022 UPDATE

 Got good news and ... meh news.

Good News _ the from cover of issue 1 has been finalized.

the MEH news ... can't show it to ya 

sorry.

Things are moving forward as we have finished all base sets 

and we are polishing and fixing renders to be ported over to clip studio

for text, sound FX and dark inking etc.

 No stream today

we are working, it is just non-stop renders which are boring to watch.

So we expect to be streaming again tomorrow

Todays stream has been canceled due to required system and software

updates.

Part 2 is a go

 ok, tested the streaming and seems to be ok.

BONUS ---> since all the heavy lifting (rendering) is being done off site on 

a server farm, it will no longer effect stream quality

score !

 Hardware issues have been dealt with via cloud service.

 AND, our hardware is not up to the task of rendering the newer more realistic models.

so we quit, was a good try to that is it....

solution. Cloud computer services.

This will bring up costs but cure a laundry list of issues.
