With the holiday wrapping up we will be back to work on the comic.

We are continuing posting videos of our work on our YouTube
but the music supplied by You Tube themselves keeps getting flagged
by social media as a copyright violation. So we will discontinue
adding music.
This is a known issue associated with automation of copyright checking software.
We have even had an issue stream online game play (the owners have
confirmed that they have no issue with streaming the game play) but it still
gets flagged as a copyright violation (it is not).
So that is that, no music.

Today my computer reached it's maximum capacity to handle the geometry in the scene.
oh no ... what do we do?
we cheat.
Using methods developed by the movie industry a ways back we can
fill our scenes with a lot of people.
As long as we follow a few rules.
So that is what we will cover tomorrow.
I wanted to post am example of what we will be doing to the rough renders
to bring it in line with the finished product.

I am currently holding off any more streaming of comic work.
We are still working but rending scenes is about as exciting as watching
paint dry. Literally.
So, we will charge on and get the boring stuff done as quickly as possible
so we can get to the fun stuff.
Like inking, PS work , sound FX and so on.

We have been working hard to get the comic production back
into some kind of schedule. We do not stream all of the work.
Currently we are getting caught up in generic model renderings
(base stuff) so we have something to work with.
I thought it would be good to list our work flow if that interests you.
1. Rough draft
2. Model rendering for all needed scenes
3. Photo shop corrections and fixes on renders
4. Apply base comic FX to renders
5. Place shots in comic
6. Hand Ink shots
7. add dialog
8. add FX and sound FX
9. add misc.
10. Q&A
We are on step #2 but it is the most time consuming
everything else is much faster
If and when we stream comic work, it will be in the late morning
to afternoon time area (EST)

SO, that means a lot less gaming and more comic production streaming.

Well, I WOULD be playing HCL 4 but they dropped a new update
and it went splat.
Servers will be up in the morning but not holding my breath
As more information comes out about the DDO 'Fest' it turns out that
it is more like the mimic event except less like an event.
Basically, you need to kill champions ... so, with the sole exception
of getting a rare key drop from one it is nothing more than a
new version of collecting rem. Certainly not worth a special
stream about it.
At least I would hardly call it a Festival.

I am happy to report that the hard drive migration was successful with
not loss of data. (that we know of)
So we should be back on track and not worried about the hard drive freezing up.
